Product Description
This plate can be specified when any gainsborough mortice knob needs to be 'fixed dead' . For instance, if you wanted to use a Gainsborough Mortice Knob on a cupboard door or wardrobe door, and you only want one knob on one side, you can use this disc which is screwed to the door first, then the knob screws onto it. Once in place, the knob is fixed - i.e. it wont spin. So for a pair of wardrobes, you could purchase 1pair of knobs, and 2no of these discs.
