A black PVC box keep which is designed to fit behind the striker plate of heavy duty tubular mortice latches, covering the unsightly cut away timber in door frames which is normally visible behind the strikeplate.
The side hole allows for the striker plate adjustment tongue (seen on most striker plates nowadays)
Can also be trimmed with a knife or scissors to adapt with economy tubular latches or for other latch situations.
