Made by Precision, the AM60 tubular latch uses a patented installation method where minimal amounts of chiseling are required. The process can be made even easier with the use of the AMPITP Installation tool pack.
The AM60 has a modern, clean finish which is achieved with the use of magnets embedded in the latch and strikeplate. This means the latchbolt remains flush in the door while it's open, and only extends when the door is closed. The patented stainless steel housings conceal any rough edges created during installation, while self-adhesive coverplates conceal the screw heads.
Padding in the strikeplate softens the impact of the latch, making it quieter than conventional latches. Suitable for all types of sprung levers.
