Additional information
These T Hinges have a ‘Gothic shaped’ pointed end and is a perfect option for hanging heavy doors.
The hook plate needs to morticed into the frame, making the door in-line with the frame.
They are hot forged i.e. drawn to shape, not welded or fabricated and with the knuckle being fashioned in the traditional way it makes for a very strong product.
The traditional way of choosing a hinge size means it should reach two thirds of the way across the door but providing it reaches at least half way across it should carry the weight of most doors with no problems. For especially heavy doors a third hinge can be used (three on one door).
Sold as a set and supplied with necessary fixing screws.
Suitable for internal or external use but maintenance instructions must be followed to preserve the finish of your product.

• Got to say this was quite the upgrade! before this, i used a similar set but they didn't quite have the same heft or style. from the anvil 33286 24 hook and band hinges have this great black finish that really works. didnt face any hitches during install. it's steady and feels premium. those old ones were okay but this one just performs better. i'd go with this anytime arrond. for anyone looking for reliability and a subtle statement go for this!

• This scored 10/10 on durability and 9/10 on design. installation was easy too felt like a 10/10. highly recommend for anyone needing quality!
• When considering hinges this is excellent for heavier doors or gates. its classic black finish suits traditional decor. installation was surprisingly simple too. the durability is standout especially in exposed conditions. for those with modern decor or lighter doors consider a different style. but for reliability and style i highly recommend this!
