PRODUCT FINISH
Our beeswax finish is the most authentic finish for steel. After forging, the colours left in the steel range from blue to deep red ochre. To preserve these beautiful colours, our beeswax products are dipped into hot beeswax. This gives a subtle, matt richness to the metal and offers excellent protection when the products are fitted internally and properly maintained. An extremely natural finish and a far softer alternative to a black powder coated finish.
MAINTENANCE & CARE
To ensure the finish on your beeswax product always remains at its best, we would advise re-coating your product with our ‘Maintenance Wax’ (33002) from time to time. This adds further protection to the metal and helps to prevent any rust or white blooms forming. Due to temperature changes or packaging, a beeswax product may occasionally show signs of a white bloom upon opening. This can be buffed with a soft cloth to remove. Please note that where possible we would recommend using our external beeswax in areas of your property with high moisture content, such as bathrooms or kitchens. Light surface rust may appear if using our standard beeswax in damp internal environments, but this can be removed with ease. For accompanying external products, we recommend using our external beeswax finish.

How much is delivery?
Delivery is Free for orders over £70 to any UK postcode (exc. Channel Islands). Orders under £70 will be subject to a £6.25 shipping fee. If your order is under £15 we also offer a cheaper £3.95 posting option which is a tracked Royal Mail Second Class service. The majority of orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked parcels.

How quick is delivery?
Most of our fast-moving and popular products are held in stock and most if not all deliveries are despatched from our warehouse within 2-3 working days, some the same day. All products have a delivery estimate stated, and the majority will say 2-5 working days. Owing to the extensive ranges and finishes, there are certain items we do not stock in our warehouse but are readily available to us from our network of UK-based suppliers and manufacturers quickly. If you have products with different delivery periods on your order, we tend to deliver when the order is complete - please let us know if you need a part delivery, and we will always try and help out.
Once your order is ready for despatch, we will generally despatch most UK mainland orders on a 1-2 day service with Royal Mail Tracked parcel services. Orders under the value of £15 can also be shipped via standard Royal Mail tracked post at a cheaper rate.

Depending on what time of day it is, we can normally arrange next-day delivery on most of our core ranges to UK mainland postcodes. This may involve extra shipping charges so please call us and we will check availability and prices for you. What happens if my item(s) are out of stock?
Should any item be delayed or unobtainable for any reason, we will contact you to resolve or discuss an alternative. You can of course cancel items at this point, or arrange a part shipment of your order which may result in additional postage/shipping charges in some cases.

You must request a returns form if you want to arrange a return - We cannot accept returns without a returns form completed. Please email us at returns@handles4homes.co.uk and we will email you back with an authorisation form.
Non-faulty goods that are no longer required, must be received back to us in a re-saleable condition, in original packaging within 30 daysof receipt, to enable us to issue a refund to your card/PayPal. The goods must be returned to us within 30 days from the date when the goods were received. Please ensure the original product packaging is intact and the original packaging has not been defaced as this will invalidate any refund. Products must not be sent loose within boxes as invariably this will result in damage during transit. We also kindly suggest that any product packaging/bags are cleanly cut open with scissors so that we are able to heat-seal packaging again, should they be returned.

Last one I used was similar but this one feels more durable. the finish on this one is just right. no fingerprints left behind! the installation was smooth with no hiccups.
