Where to put knobs on cupboard doors

Once you have decided on your new kitchen cupboard knobs, as a general rule of thumb, you should place them on the opposite side to where the door hinges sit. In addition, depending on whether you place your cupboard or cabinet at a higher or lower height, the guidance on where to install the door knob or handle can differ.
For higher cupboards, the general advice is to place door knobs between 2 and 3 inches away from the door corner. Whereas for lower-placed cabinets, door knobs are better suited when installed in the top corner, again adjacent to the side where the hinges are. Alternatively, sometimes a cabinet handle can look great when placed centrally on all the cupboards, and for narrower or wider cabinets, why not select a handle which has a range of sizes, thus allowing a handle suited to each width of door or drawer.
