How to reset a padlock combination
Regularly changing your padlock’s combination code is a great way to keep your belongings extra safe. Just like changing your password for any online service, changing your combination further protects you from potential thieves. To reset and change the combination, follow these simple steps:

Enter your current combination code to open the padlock.

Locate your padlock’s rest button/slot. If there’s a button, press and hold to trigger the reset function. A hole or slot can be triggered using a straightened paper clip. Insert the clip until you feel a blockage, and rotate 90 degrees. You should hear a click signalling the reset function.

Select your new combination while the button is still pressed or the tool is in the rest hole. Ensure it’s one you’re confident you’ll remember and others will struggle to guess. Once you enter the new code, release the button or remove the paper clip.

Give your new combination a test by closing the padlock, scrambling the numbers and entering your code. Your padlock should open as normal and your new code will be ready!
